I have set AI to 100% run defense, 90% outside run, and all players reported changing to focus: run.

And while my team isn't the best, the team we played did exactly what it though, atleast 95% running to the outside and we had no chance to stop them,

Is the running game so strong now that its impossible to stop?
If our opponent would have went on 4th and shorts they would have never been forced to punt, cause even stopping them at the line they'd get creditted for 3-4 yards (I assume from the SA).

I'm all for balance and a good running game, but seems every other team out there is running @ near 100% and you can't stop them.

It's been really difficult to totally stop the run against a solid rushing team, but slowing a team down hasn't been too difficult. I have to assume it's your personnel, if you have your AI properly set.

I've seen plenty of teams hold otherwise great rushing offenses to 3 YPC or less in some cases. 4-3 or 3-4? Run stuffing DEs? Run stuffing LDE at least? OLBs shifted and blitzing can work, but it's really inconsistent, as you can't really guess what side they're going to pitch to.

HMM, okay, thanks I was really upset, but atleast its not just me.
Any 1 position that would be the most important to stop this? As I do think it is my personnel.

I would say my LDE is good, and my SS.
But I have a weak set of linebackers, you know how hard it is to get decent LBs? hehe.
Secondary is kinda weak too.
Our DTs its hard to tell they don't get much going the way the sim runs now.

Looks like we ran up against someone trying to put the ultimate running team together,
Blocking CB's, a nasty blocking FB, and blocking TE's, not many teams are able to stop this right now.
No risk of interceptions, controls the clock well, and always ends in TD's...very hard to beat I guess.

Blocking CBs? Wow. They really were serious about running the ball.

Sounds like your personnel isn't very good, or you're just in a league where the other teams are a lot farther along than yours.

We have 4 solid run stoppers on our starting D-Line. Both of our ends are sort of a hybrid. They get some hurries, but low on sacks. Excellent against the pitch.

Our starting DTs are massive beasts that can manhandle most O-Linemen they face, at least on paper.

Our NT constantly clogs the middle and handles 2 blockers. 39 tackles and 2 sacks for a run stopping focus NT that's been set to run focus the entire season is not too shabby. 4th in hurries in the conference.

Our starting DT we acquired in week 5 and he's 2nd in the conference in hurries. He doesn't get sacks at an alarming rate, but I mostly blame my own conservative play calling on that. If I blitzed the MLB more often, I think his sack totals would go up a bit. He's also got 46 tackles, and 19 TFL.
