Right. Not sure what the exact number of days is but you can't just join a team as a GM one day and expect to be able to buy the team the next.

Not true! They will go down the GM list in order of service but if they get to you and you've been 2 days it's still yours if you want it...

I got my team because of an inactive owner. I was not the longest serving GM, but I was the only one with all the powers.

Were you on the waiting list allready? Did the admins got to you and asked (every GM on that team) if they wanted to buy the team they needed to add themselfs to the waiting list?

on the team i bought the owner posted up that he was wanting to sell and i wanted to buy it, all we did was the owner pm'ed a mod and tols them that i wanted to buy the team and the mods took care of the transaction, as long as you have the FP
not sure about having to be a GM but i had been one with them for 2 seasons
