btw: i had 5 wisdom teeth taken out last monday. luckily they did not get infected and wern't impacted or anything like that.

5 though! ouch. i feel your pain frisky... ok i feel half of your pain, but still, in the same area.

5 wisdom teeth? thought there was just the 4 lmao (edit, googled it and found a case with 8 wisdom teeth so meh)

went to the dentist this morning, i guess my top 2 came in fine, but the bottom 2 are halfway out - right one doesnt hurt, the left one is the one that is killing me gonna give it a day or 2 and ill make the appointment for the surgury, id just rather not...i fucking hate dentists

I had all 4 of mine removed, i was lucky enough to have all 4 impacted and the bottom was so bad that they had to remove a portion of my jaw bone to get them all out, before the surgery they will make you watch a video about the risks. the one about the nerve in your lower jaw that gives you the ability to have feeling in your lips they will tell you that there is a chance that it could take damage and you could lose feeling temporarily or permanent, that happened to me as well but only temporarily I got it back in a few weeks little by little. The surgery is a bitch it really is and you will regret it for the next 2 or 3 weeks but after a few months you will be glad you had it; at least in my case because all 4 of mine were impacted and they all hurt extremely bad.

Good luck with those! an beg your oral surgeon to give you some good pills because you will need them, try and sleep as much as you can the few days afterwards because if you stay awake you will most likely just spend all your time vomiting, at least I did. I actually ripped my stitches out of my mouth because I was vomiting so profusely.

The above is not meant to scare you or anything but more or less prepare you...

You sure as hell scared me enough that now I'm reconsidering on getting mine removed.

yeah, my surgeon gave me the good drugs, and I don't remember the week mine were taken out.

Valium before, something in the IV, a shot in the mouth, then gas...

Then the good pills when I got home.

So it wasn't that bad for me...

I got mine removed by military dentists in boot camp........ talk about scary.

lol i did my whole dentist thing twice a year until i was like 11 - got plenty of horror stories which is why i avoided going for the last 12, unfortunatly i kinda had to now

feeling betterish, this is by far the longest its given me trouble - they act up every 3-4 months for a couple of days - going on almost 2 weeks now of this crap

Do not, I repeat, do not eat a payday after your surgery! Dry sockets are the stuff of nightmares.

if i get them out i doubt ill be eating much - i do have to admit i am looking rather good having not eaten much the last few weeks haha

as a side note - the Monkeys vs the Rockstar happens today too
