Back with our first official newsletter. Today we sit down with quarterback Level 25 QB Caleb Bailey and cover some of the happenings around our team.
In the world of GLB, the demand for testing illegal substances has reduced in the past weeks. Unfortunately, the owners of teams are demanding that all players boost their attributes every season. Its gotten to the point that players can't keep up unless that go to outside sources. Is it fair to the players? Almost certainly not, but then again winning comes at all costs in this league.
k2bailey commented on the issue in a recent phone interview, "Teams like the Teabaggers, Jaguars, and Maulers are all doing it! How the f*** are we supposed to compete by playing fairly." He added that certain agents seem more willing too abuse their players. "I heard a rumor that all 6 players dawgs1235 ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl )has are on HGH. I'm not complaining, but man, those guys are monsters."
The end result of this remains to be seen, but its an rampant epidemic, with no end in the near future.
In Thunder news, the team stands at 4-8 (11th place) in the BBB13 Western Conference. One more victory and the team will set a new franchise record for wins in a season. While it looks like the team will fall short of its 8th place goal, much progress has been made this season. Several key starter have been resigned to long term contract, one of the most important being Level 26 DT Mike Trainor. During his press conference, he commented saying "I could have defiantly gone elsewhere, but dawgs1235 got me wasted after our 27-6 victory over Raving and kind of put me on the spot. I hate seeing a grown man cry, so I gave in." dawgs1235 had no comment on the incident. k2bailey did say, "we are looking to keep the players that have been good to us, you know, we get really attached to these guys. djoe also added "do you have any f*****g idea how hard it is to bring a 26 DT to a 4-8 team!"
In our interview of the week, we sit down with QB Caleb Bailey, mastermind behind the epic record-setting season unfolding before us.
Chicago Thunder Weekly (CTW)- What's up man, how are the ladies treating you these days?
CB- "To be honest, there aren't a lot of women looking for a mediocre BBB QB out there. I mean, i get mine, but nothing to brag about."
CTW-What are the plans for the future?
CB-"Well i was checking myself out in the mirror yesterday, working on my confidence, when I thought to myself how cool it'd be to make it to the playoffs. So that's it... we will make the playoffs next year."
CTW-Sounds like a pretty lofty goal...
CB- F** YOU!
CTW-Whoa dude, sorry man. I didn't mea...
CB- Whatever man, this interview is over. I've got some mildy hot girls to bang.
CTW-Good luck, thank for you time.
So there you have it, next week we'll have Vontay Davis in house to check up on his offseason plans and goals for next year.
Till then, keep it real.
