I'm not so sure how important vision is for a DE. I get how it makes it easier to find the RB and QB but does it somehow boost the Tunnel Vision SA or give it a higher chance to activate?

Tunnel vision is separate. Vision is supposed to help break blocks, choose the correct path off the snap to get around blockers and generally know where the play is going. Tunnel vision is an ability with a chance to activate, maybe it increases the radius in which it can, but I'm pretty sure other than that small bonus they are unrelated.

I find 30 works fine. I've not seen many with it higher.

Well, aside from the most prolific pass-rusher in the game who soft-capped vision.

Lvl 26 DE - with 26 career sacks

My vision is sitting right around 32. I planned on training it all this season, but then they went and nerfed the wrap-up tackle tactic so I've been training on that. I think it's probably the most important secondary stat (behind speed/agility/str).

My vision is in the low 30s and I produce in a pro league.

I doubt LJ has soft-capped vision from the way he talks about it.

Nice. I am about to level up and I am close to dropping all 5 points into vision to hit 40. I am torn between that and +2 vision with +1 TV to 6.

50+ vision, 8+ tunnel vision here.
