OK, I have always assumed that the Underneath Coverage option in the Defensive AI just determined how the whole defense played within the cover shell that you picked. Is this how it works or does it control how the Linebackers play withing the coverage shell (ie a Cover 2 shell with a zone underneath coverage would have the CB's playing m2m while the safeties and lb's played zone)?

I would appreciate anyone else's opinion on the subject.

Nobody has the answer to this or is my question just too stupid to be answered?

OMG how dumb! it sets the whole def.if zone underneath your LB will fly to their zones ie:OLB to the flats etc man to man LOLB picks up TE and LB float and read (vision) if not blitzing.
