Again I'll say this I gave those guys a few days to find a trade I let them know ahead of time what was going on. Fake was a good guy and still is a class act. Had I known ahead of time the owner would be a prick maybe it would have been different. In the end he should have gotten some deals done sooner it was wearing on me and really I just wanted to be done with it. I know there will be the gutted shit and all that and abandoning the team but bottom line is if I know my team is getting disbanded I'm finding a team asap. I think Fake took on to much and our offense never hit a groove.

Why didn't you just sign a bunch of CPUs are release FS?

I equate it to someone who talks shit for no good reason. To jump in on a thread without any real information or facts to back up their shit talk.

example - like when someone claims the Pro league is the best when in reality the promotion/relegation process hasen't had the ample time to really sort out the best teams yet they will defend it even though it is obviously not the case as of yet with remarks like "get out of our forum and shut up"*tear*. It will eventually be the case but not yet, not even close.

i agree that it will take some time for the relegation/promotion to sort out the leagues. however, what's the point in people coming in all the time to try to point that out?

i have MUCH more respect for teams (like Galaxy Aces and Las Vegas Freebirds) who earn their way in and represent. They're condenders in the West and have a great shot at making waves in the playoffs. People who come in here just to argue that just because you're in the league doesn't mean your team is great might as well be coming in and telling me the sky is blue. It's pointless and downright annoying. Want to talk smack? Earn your way into the league and then win.

There are teams that have done that and there are teams out there that are well on their way. At least some of us welcome that and are excited about the competition.

Your points make sense and I never came to this forum talking shit at all. I made the points that are obvious once I saw plenty of Pro team people saying it was the best and making excuses when their teams lost to lesser leagues in the normal GLB forum. You even admit to the promotion/relegation point. I can take the attacks and dish it out so it really isn't any big deal. I would like to thank you for at least presenting a counter-point.

Yes abviously a team like the Aces deserves the notoriety that they have for working their way up and who wouldn't want better competition in what will eventually be the best league. These are all great points by you. Don't misconstrue anything to think I think my team belongs, because we don't. It is more about the Pro people attitude and considering they are the best when that is clearly not the case. If your the one person that understands any of the points I made then I am sorry but everyone else around here isn't as rational as you.

I can't disagree with you thinking it was a childish post, it was, I stooped to some kids level. It happens.

the "posts like this" was more in reference to the initial thread (and ones like it)

i'm ALL for teams earning their way up or coming in like we did (taking over a gutted team) and then proving they belong by collecting Ws. hopefully in the near future all PRO leagues will have earned their reputation by not only being full of teams that are solid, but also by relegating teams that win their AAA leagues and come back up. THAT would show the toughness of the league.

it's likely that not everyone in here thinks that way, though, and i understand (and share) the frustration with that. hopefully, you can see how from my perspective, people not in this league coming in to argue the things that we agree upon can be annoying. the end result is that half of "my" league forum is taken up by useless posts.
