No one from the Monkeys that I know of were banned, but the owner Monkeyman and a GM Rabideasterbunny said that they were done with the game. Will stop buying flex, sell the team in the offseason and possibly retire their players. Also, they have pulled out of the 64 team GLB tournament. So FFLW gets a free pass to the next round.
It looks like they are not pulling out of the tourney and that post was made with their GM under the impression that they were going to immediately disband.

Yea being an active member from SA Pro, things got pretty hairy and man there were tons of messages going down. Prolly can't dwell on it now, but it was refreshing to see everyone getting heard and justice served.

Yea they got a couple of new mods in that will be patrolling the boards. how one of them go it supries me tho how Bort basically apolgised for a Pm a Mod said and basically gave him Mod so he wouldnt quit the game because he had loads of players.

Well it was more than that. Satchmo was not only pm'd with a shitty message, but he was ignored and I believe banned for no reason and wasn't even really heard out when he tried to get unbanned. It also helped that he is GM of a million friends and massive posts of people were taking his side and supporting him.
At the end of the day, Bort is a smart guy and knows the shit that went down simply was bad business and he took his customer's thoughts and whatnot into account.

Essentially what happened was a mod abused his power and authority when his team lost and he was taking some in the forums. That led to people crying foul, which led to more abuse and more lockouts.
Hopefully what comes of this is that each league/forum gets mods from that league/forum. To have someone come in who had no idea of the history and personalities in that league start dropping hammers on people wasn't right or fair, and Bort did a great job of starting on the path of setting things up like communities... so people who have issues can go to someone who is much more familiar with the players in whatever conflict.
