1a. FFLW Caninites - (giving them the nod on the basis of false modesty and that whole "defending champ" thing.)

3. TIT - Either they are the #1 team by a good margin, or Zeta is a beter conference at the top, you now know my answer.
4. FFLivewire Cans - Zeta is a better conference at the top.
5. ECT - Newcomers have H2H edge over Turtles and Pride, have played TIT, other two have not.
6. Rawle Tech Titans - Impressive effort against formidable Kava Sharks.
7. West Scranton Invaders - Strength of TITS win seperates them.
8. Fiji Sea Turtles - Game of the week will move them up, or down.
9. New England Burning Pride - Have a chance to seperate themselves next week.
10. Vanuatu Kava Sharks - Big wins and intriguing losses. Seem like a dangerous woumded animal backed into a corner.

Canberra Vs. Sharks for the 10 spot was kind of close, I obviously recognize Canberra's history and success, I imagine that when all the dust settles both the Strike and Mustangs will be in the top ten.

If others would be kind enough to share their top ten, I would be very interested.

FLAME ON!

The top 3 are the top 3. There's little to debate there other than order. That being said, IMHO Brantford would beat any one of them on most days, including my own team.

So I moved Brantford not only into the top ten, but all they way up to #4.

The rest I tried to go with recent history: who had the bigger wins in the last 2-3 games.

1. Brisbane Heat - Beating FFLW makes them #1 until and if they lose
2. Tonga Ikale Tahi - Top team in Alpha
3. FFLW Caninites - They could just as easily be #2, kind of a crapshoot.
4. Rawle Tech Titans - After the top 3, I see them being the most formidable of the next tier
5. East Coast Tide - A bit under the radar, beating the Turtles and NEBP is a strong sign.
6. Fiji Sea Turtles - They can make the leap to 4 this week if they crush it.
7. Brantford Mustangs - Coming on strong here at the end of the season.
8. New England Burning Pride- 3 losses to teams ranked above them, by a combined 13 points
9. FFLivewire Cans - 3 game losing streak docks them some, but they're well positioned to recover a lot of ground going into the playoffs.
10. Vanuatu Kava Sharks - Beating the Heat gives them the nod

The Cans put an asswhooping on us earlier in the year. 3 game losing streak or not I think they are a better team than we are.

It's inevitable that some teams will be ranked below teams that they beat. Tonga is above West Scranton in every poll I've seen even though West Scranton beat them. West Scranton's ahead of us in most polls even though we beat them. We're ahead of Fiji in some polls even though Fiji beat us. Brisbane is ahead of Vanuatu in every poll that I've seen even though Vanuatu won their H2H. Since it's impossible to line things up that way, I try to focus on the more recent past, and FFLivewire was losing (albeit to very good teams). They can make a big jump in the next couple of weeks though, for sure.

Honestly, I think the biggest problem making these rankings is figuring out who to leave off. I left West Scranton and IC off this week, and I wouldn't be surprised if either team wins it all this season. We have more than 10 teams in OPL that are really good, and Brantford's recent rampage only makes it more crowded.

Truth.

My W15 Rankings:

1. Brisbane Heat - Don't see any reason to drop them
2. FFLW Caninites - Same
3. Tonga Ikale Tahi - Close win against a good team... feel bad moving them down 1
4. West Scranton Invaders - Blowing out Newcastle sends a real message
5. FFLivewire Cans- After beating IC, they're one tough win from the #3 zeta seed
6. Rawle Tech Titans - Made Blitz look pretty bad.
7. Brantford Mustangs - Only got bumped down because bumping FFLivewire up was a necessity.
8. Fiji Sea Turtles - Hard to fault them too much for barely losing to Tonga.
9. Canberra Strike - Beat a very good ECT team- I think we've seen this type of late-season surge from them before...
10. Vanuatu Kava Sharks - Looks like they're headed into the playoffs at 12-4

It legitimately bothers me that I can't make room for Wagga Wagga in here. I'd like to put them at 10, but I wouldn't feel right knocking Vanuatu out for only beating Westpac by 94.

I think knocking Fiji out and putting Wagga in would be legitimate.

Maybe, but I think that knocking Fiji out for losing to the top team in alpha by a whole one point wouldn't be totally right either.

I'm KillerToad and I approve of these rankings

So far I have only received votes from IC, NEBP, WSI, and the Gods.

Also, I would prefer to keep the individual rankings private until after I release the poll so others rankings are not influenced. It just kind of defeats the purpose, imo.

Lets get them in today guys so I can post the results tonight.
