I thought I'd take a stab at some rankings this week. Enjoy!

**************************

1. Los Angeles Reign. 11-0. I think we have the most talant and have not been beat yet this season. That being said there are some seriously talented teams in the West and it's anybody's game once the playoffs roll around.

2. South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice. 11-0. Great team, great defense. These guys have really bounced back from there first season mediocrity. They are for real now and a very very dangerous team. RESPECT.

3. Over the Rhine Red Dots. 8-3. Their record does not show it, but they are the 3rd in the west. I don't go off of current records, rather I base the rankings on the talent of the team overall, and they are a very strong team. They will go far in the playoffs, mark it down.

4. San Jose Chupacabra. 9-2. One of the best defenses in the league. Once they get a few more offensive weapons, they will be extremely tough to scheme against. Reminds me of the Reign last season. Defense wins ballgames, but you still need the offense to put up points. Another team that nobody wants to play in the playoffs.

5. Bay Area Bastards. 9-2. These bastards are for real. They always are prepared and have made great strides this season. Not an extremely flashy team, but they seem to show up on gameday and deliver. They are one of the scrappiest teams in the west. Capable of beating anyone come playof time...

6. Little Haiti Voodoo. 8-3. These guys have all the talent in the world, yet still can't consistantly perform to win week in a week out. Not sure what's going on with them, but when looking at their team talent, they are amongst the tops in the league. If they can put it all together come playoffs, they will be a team to be feared. I don't like playing them.

7. Reno Marauders. 6-5. This is where the drop off begins. I like Reno, I really do, but they have some serious work to do before they become an contender. They have some weak spots on their team and have not made the key moves (yet!) in order to fill the gaps. That being said, they are a fair team, but not one that the top teams really fear during their matchups. Mabye that will change soon...

8. Fresno Fire. 6-5. They have weapons, but not enough to make a difference in the league come playoff time. Mabye they will have an upset, but it's not predicted. They should be one and done.

9. Omaha Beef. 5-6. A team on the rise, but still way below the rest of the top 8 in the west. They are aquiring some talant, but until they proove otherwise, they are just another pretender and easy win for the top teams in the west.

10. Colorado Springs Flyers. 4-7. The biggest let down in all of BBB#1. When I first joined the league, these guys were tough. After that first season, they made absolutely no moves to make their team better and have suffered ever since. A classic tale of a team that could be one of the best, yet got really really lazy and obviously doesn't care too much about winning. Pathetic.

11. Fort Wayne Talons. 3-8. Another team that I think has lots of potential, but will take some time. They have some good players, and seem to want to win games, but they are so far behind the best of the west that it will take a season or two before they are considered to be a good team.

12. Minnesota Americans. 4-7. A team that I love to play. I think that their ownership has never played football before, or flat out don't really give a damn about being a contender. They have guys with their builds open, out of position players, and a poor gameplan week in and week out. Not trying to be an ass...but this is my honest assessment.

13. Jacktown Smackdown. 2-9. One of the worst in the league. If the west was full of good teams, these guys would be at the very bottom, but since there are some teams that are shittier than them, they are at 13. They have some good players, but I'm guessing that they will leave soon and the Smackdown will disband soon. That may the best case scenario for them...

14. Texas Raptors. 1-10. Honestly...how bad do you have to be before you figure it out and make moves to aquire some talent. They are complete shit and will not be better. I hope they proove me wrong...it's part of the reason I'm being so harsh. Geeezzz...

15. Pensacola Wolfpac. 1-10. At least the Raptors do not have CPU's in their staring lineup. Not really worth typing too much about them as they totally suck and when they start to step up, we can start to maybe respect them. Until then they are a JV squad to beat up on.

16. Kansas City Royal Chiefs. 0-11. So not only are you a totally shitty team, you have to drag Kansas City and their real professional teams down with you...both the Cheifs and the Royals. I've alreay said to much about these guys...they are absolutely an abomination in USA BBB.

************************

Bash away guys...this is how I truely feel about the state of the league as of week 10. I hope this league starts to be better from 8-16...that's part of the reason why I'm calling them out. Kudos to the teams that are being competitive.

...I was really drunk when I wrote that, but I am assuming I was talking about the kiss of death from the Godfather movie. It's just the Dirt McGirt in me...no offense intended.

I disagree about Bay Area not having flashy weapons. When you have the #1 QB in the Western Conference, the #1 WR in terms of receptions and yards, second receiver in the top 15, a starting HB averaging over 100 yds per game.....that's flashy enough for me. Also, their defense has the lowest points allowed per game in ALL of BBB#1. You could make the argument that they should be ranked even higher.

Other than that. Great job with the power rankings.

You have a good point. THey have some strong skill players offensively that can make big plays. I'll edit my original post.

I agree with 9-16, however I knew we would beat Reno. But I also realize that only puts us up to 7. 1-6 are much more superior, no doubt about it. And I don't really see us getting any better(but perhaps we haven't boosted yet...hmmmmm)

And I'd Also like to add that South Otto is a lot better than I gave them credit for. You guys obviously have some damn good gameplanning on your team.
