He is not doing that bad considering they have 111 touchdowns and only missed 9 XP for the season. Stamina was probably a factor in some of those games as to why he missed. Check out the game log: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_game_log.pl?player_id=260447 . Hitting about 92% on the season for XPs with a 63/100 rating. I see that as not bad.

I think if you have to have 100/100 rating to make a higher percentage is a bit stupid, because what is that level 40/50+?

Those guys have a 66 and a 69 kicking bar, and they've missed 8-10 extra points.... in my mind then, they suck as a kickers if they can't even make extra points consistently

Yeah I've seen a bunch of kickers with green kicking bar, like 60 or 63, but horrible overall bars, 39 yellow all the way down to 33. It's kind of funny, they're so bad right now, but who knows - maybe down the line they will be elite.

Critical skills like Strength and Speed aren't factored into the kicking bar. The kicking bar is no indicator whatsoever of a kicker's abilities.

I have a lvl 18 K, with a 71K and i am at 100%, grant it my team sucks and ive only had 20 attmpts this year. If you look at my career im 59/60 extrapolating that out I would be 118/120 which is realistic beacause, lets face it, shit happens (think Romo fumbling a snap). I dont know the chaps stats but maybe his vision, strength and confidence arent where they should be? If its says anything at all heres my K stats

Strength: 35.69 Blocking: 8
Speed: 20.58 Tackling: 17.64
Agility: 18.08 Throwing: 12.89
Jumping: 12.89 Catching: 9
Stamina: 16.52 Carrying: 8
Vision: 33.22 Kicking: 71
Confidence: 37 Punting: 10.73

SA
4-5-6

My FGs arent that great. Im dynamite from short, but im 1/4 from 40+, my line was terrible and had some blocked and I boosted vision alot this season as well to help with that.

Shouldn't the SA's help with PATs?

Yes, I would agree it does seem stupid. I think it could be done earlier than that if you build the player right. Hit the 4th cap in kicking/punting which I figure could be done by level 13(might be a little extreme) or the 3rd cap at level 10. Then hitting the 1st soft cap in confidence could be done in the next 3 levels and after that bump vision more so if your a kicker than a punter. Finally all skill tree while training all the other minor skills except maybe throwing. By the time you hit level 24 you should have 90 (1st cap then stopping), 100 (2nd cap), 104 (3rd cap), or 106 (4th cap) points in kicking/punting. It seems to me that the only thing that really helps out the most is 1st kicking/punting, 2nd confidence, 3rd vision, & 4/5/6th strength/agility/jumping. For stats besides the skill tree. Boort almost spells out the builds for you if you pay attention to what are major/minor abilities. I am not trying to be sarcastic here and of course there are some major abilities that are more important than other major abilities when it comes to other positions and the type of player your trying to build!

In my experience in games it seems characters always turn out better by blasting 1 to 2 stats if possible then filling in the missing gaps later. It sucks at first but your always rewarded in the end.

Take it for what it is worth. It is too late for me to try this out since I soft capped punting, then soft capped confidence, finally put 5 points into vision, and now I am going to the 3rd soft cap in punting next. My punting bar raised 3 points when I put 4 SP = 2 stat points into punting. This is just what I and some others I have talked about.

This could be just a bunch of hoop-la since players do seem to have bad games. It is hard to tell why from the replays since the graphics may not be accurate or lack there of. I definitely ramble too much...
