Why isn't this QB throwing to the open guys? (vision is 56).

There are tons and tons of plays just like these, if not worse- just didn't feel like linking a bunch of them, and I'm sure you guys wouldn't feel like watching them. Those three are all from one quarter, and just a couple of drives. He is never checking to the open receiver, and always throws into double-coverage when someone else is completely open.

because the CB covering the WR stops covering when he/she recognizes the pass is going to someone else. they move into safety mode to try to get the expected tackle. it's especially true in the first play where the CB was going to follow and then stopped right before the release.

So it's just that these CB's are really that good? They are all level 28's on that team, and our QB is level 25.

Don't forget Bort did make QBs a little less likely to always spot the open man. I have noticed my QB started throwing more passes into double or triple coverage as well this season when plenty of other players are in single coverage and would be considered more open (at least by me anyway)I started out the season with 200+ pass attempts and only 1 INT, then had a wonderful 4 INT game these plays came from. Vision has since become my top priority, I thought 50+ would be enough and i was wrong.

QB throws at WR #2 despite the fact he is covered by a CB and LB with the FS nearby. WR #1 and WR #3 were in single coverage. This might be because it was 3rd and 11 and the QB wanted a first down, but forcing the ball into double/triple coverage when you are already in FG range is just dumb.

Again 3 defenders in the area of the pass while 3 other receivers were in single coverage and open. Again was on 3rd and long so could be the QB trying to force a first down doing something really stupid.

once again 3 defenders in the area, though this time there are 2 receivers in the same area. HB and a WR were in single coverage. This time it was 2nd and 2 so this one was just a bad call no matter what.

2nd and 10, throws into a large cluster of offensive and defensive players in the middle of the field. Probably just an example of a defense having the right play called, but the #3 WR was in single coverage and not in a crowd over the middle so probably was a better choice.

On the bright side the QB did get a little revenge by making the tackle on 3 of those 4 INTs despite the fact he is possibly the slowest guy on the field for either team on those plays. Always look on the bright side.

i would get some more vision. 56 isn't really that much
