I have noticed in a lot of games for me that I can passes my way, but they are incomplete. Not dropped passes, but incomplete. I think it might be because my jumping is low. I have been training jumping for the past 3 weeks or so to cut down on those. I have not seen much of a difference yet.

ya that makes sense. you probably need to get it in the high 20's to see a difference maybe.

Your height/weight has no bearing on your player's performance. Your agility is what you should focus on.

But stop hijacking my thread!

Height does matters, height plays a key role for Receiving TEs and possession WRs, not actually a key role but it's better to have a tall one

Height and weight don't matter in this game. How many people still believe this shit. It has been said many times by almost all the Admins and Mods.

Height and weight matter about as much as a couple of skill points...not great factors but can help

Of course you need jumping. I mean when you catch the ball for a touchdown don't you wanna be able to slam dunk over the goal posts...........?

I think it is vital to the TE, as they will be catching the ball in the middle of the field with many defenders around them. If they can jump higher than the defenders, they should have a good catch rate. Though I'm not sure if this game incorporates the QB anknowledging the recievers jumping stat and throwing the ball above everyone and forcing the reciever to jump up and get it. But nonetheless, it happens frequently, and a combination of jumping and catching can make the TE a very reliable option.

Actually, I would have to disagree somewhat. I have been training jumping all season, and have noticed for one I get the ball more in the endzone then previously, but I will also get the ball thrown to me when my dot is behind 2 defenders dots,(can't find the play) and in good coverage. I haven't been able to catch any till recently, but the play obviously shows the ball bouncing around like it hit me first. I just think some defenders have pretty high jumping also, and in order for it to be affective for a TE, the stat has to be pretty high.
