How much is appropriate? I know strength and agility are more important than speed, but I'm guessing that a little bit of speed can't hurt.

NT's generally don't put up big numbers. At least I am not (against equal/higher competition, usually higher). I am at ~27 speed.
Would love to hear something from NTs with 35 or higher!

My NT, a backup, has 42 speed. I increased speed bc my owner decided to put him on ST since he's a backup. I noticed that he normally would hammer the defenders and make the tackle being the slow guy, so I pumped up his speed, and he's averaging 1-2 ST tackles a game.
I'll take 'em where I can get 'em

My NT has 80s/60s/50s, Str/Agil/Spd
He played at NT in Season 3 and dominated against equal level OL. This Season he's moved to different Pro teams and hasn't had any luck lately.
It's probably because of the additions they put in for this Season that were way different last.

From what i've seen, if you run a pass rush D having both the DT and NT with at least 40 speed would appear to help on pass D, but you need the primary stats first to get to the point where you need that speed. For the NT it's better as it appears to draw the double team more with a fast NT and this lets the DT/LDE get free a touch more often.
