What does "Play Distance" do? I realize on a pass play that routes will be run further down the field, but will more WR's come in for Long plays and more TE's for short plays?

On run plays, will more TE's and the FB be in on short, but more WR's and maybe no FB on long?

Maybe, I figured it was useless for running, sort of like selecting your primary receiver on a running play. I could very well be wrong, though.

No on has any experience in this area?

it doesnt affect your formations or how many recievers you have on the field only the target route depth. on running plays it does not apply. source: GLB radio

You definitely get more WR for long plays.
