I have a QB on a slow build team. After softcapping throwing and vision, what should I focus on. I do not want crazy strength because then WR's have trouble catching it. so do I just train Str/Con/Stam/Agi and continue vision and throwing to the second cap?

Crazy that our QBs can't just decide during the game when to fire bullets and when not to. Elway had a pretty strong arm, but he didn't throw with the same velocity every play.
To answer your question, though - Don't hesitate to keep adding points to throwing and vision. However, Confidence would be my no.3 if strength were out of the mix.

This was my thought
Throwing to 2nd cap, with all my equipment (including CE)
Vision to the 2nd cap
All while training confidence and strength, back and forth depending on more training value.
Get confidence to about 40
Strength to about 30
Stamina to about 30-40

Say I softcap strength and set my tactics to medium velocitiy, would that not be the same as having about 30 strength and have my tactics to throw bullets? It seems like a waste of SP's to me to add that much strength then throw on medium, and if you have that much and throw bullets, WR's will drop balls more often due to lower catching

What about angles? Doesn't the angle of the throw flatten as the throw gets harder, or is that just translation from code to what we can understand?

no idea for that one, good point though.

I did some searching, but I finally found the quote where I'd pasted it on a team forum. This is from when he first added the velocity setting - if it's changed since then, I've been unaware of it.

Also Bort, since you did implement the touch passing tactic, are you going to post test results before the season starts to see what works? I hate to make drastic changes with my QB on a game that counts.
It works pretty well already. It's all situational, based on how far the target is. Obviously the farther a guy is from you, the higher an angle you have to throw the ball at. The setting just makes some adjustments to the angle your guy will use to throw the ball for close receivers like HB's where the angle is variable and you don't have to launch it at 45 degrees to get it there. If you choose "bullet" it will throw right at the player like it does now, if you choose "medium" it will try to keep it at least 10-15 degrees, and lofty is around 20deg. The little floaters are easier for the HB's to catch than the bullet passes.
