Great game Wembley. I could have stood having your luck stay bad for just one more game.
3 seasons in a row we play down to the wire. This time a late fumble ends our last drive to score. Still, it was largely mistake free. A great game between very closely matched teams. One of these days we'll figure out a way to beat you guys. Until we meet again, best of luck!

3 seasons in a row we play down to the wire. This time a late fumble ends our last drive to score. Still, it was largely mistake free. A great game between very closely matched teams. One of these days we'll figure out a way to beat you guys. Until we meet again, best of luck!

Speaking of that, Alpha had some great games today.
Fightin' Texas Aggies vs. Wembley Warriors 34-38
Game ends on a late fumble after both teams exchange scores all game long.
London Monarchs vs. E-City Mercenaries 10-16
Defensive struggle. Game ends with the Monarchs on E-City's 10 yard line. They'd missed a 49 yard field goal on the previous drive which would have allowed them to kick a FG here to tie.
Valhalla Vikings vs. Stuttgart Nighthawks 41-37
38 points scored in the 4th quarter. The Vikings storm back in the 4th scoring 17 unanswered points. Stuttgart then does answer with 2 touchdowns in the final 4 minutes to retake the lead. The Vikings strike back in the final 2 minutes driving 55 yards to take the lead again. Stuttgart then makes it back to the Vikings 31 yard line before running out of time.
Toledo Swords vs. Berlin Blitzkrieg 23-24
Toledo dominates the first 3 quarters only to have Berlin score 2 Touchdowns in the final 5 minutes, the last coming with 1 minute 48 second remaining.

The point here is that any of the top 12 teams can make the playoffs and any of those teams could win the conference.

I'd say it would be any body's game if the Ljacks weren't in the way - from personal experience last season, beating them in the regular season does not mean you have an icicle's chance in hell against them in the playoffs.
