so, last weekend i sprained my wrist.
and broke my other one. forgive me for not using the shift key in this write because i practically have about 50% usage of one hand.

on to the predictions

murder city devils 7-1 vs. seattle reign 5-3

two teams going in opposite directions as of late. seattle losers of 2 in a row, mcd winners of 3. seattle will have to key in on mcd's run game early, and come out with an early lead to take mcd away from their gameplan. seattle has been known for great starts, so this bodes well for them. but can they stop the run?

not this week, mcd's line is too much.
38-23

maryland iron maiden 6-2 vs. columbus buckeyes 5-3:

another example of a hot team versus a cold one. columbus, losers of two in a row look to rebound against a streaking maryland team, winners of their last four. i think the keys to this game will be columbus's run defense, who will be able to contain maryland's rushing attack, while maryland's rushing defense will fail to contain columbus's.

columbus rebounds with a huge win.
23-20

megatropolis tigers 5-3 vs. milwaukee fire 6-2:

what are they putting in the drinking water in megatropolis? winners of 2 in a row, with a surprising win last week over columbus, they travel to milwaukee looking to upset another top ranked conference opponent and further solidify a playoff position. speaking of water, the fire have been absolutely living up to their namesake, reeling off six straight victories. this marks the first game of a tough four game stretch for milwaukee, will they overlook the tigers?

i don't think so, milwaukee's torrid pace continues:
26-20

detroit soldiers 3-5 vs lexington mob 3-5:

two teams on the outside of the playoff picture face off here in an extremely important matchup for each. the enigmatic soldiers and pass happy mob duel in a game that will virtually eliminate the loser from any playoff hopes. the key here will obviously be detroit's ability to stop the pass.

unforunately, detriot's pass defense hasn't shown it's been able to do so thus far this year.
33-23

new york huskies 2-6 vs. new jersey vikings 0-8:

these two bitter rivals square off again as the huskies hope to rebound from a 3 game losing streak while the vikings hope to rebound from a...

not this week.
24-20

pontiac war kittens 5-3 vs. anonymous assassins 2-6:

what team has been more difficult to figure out this year than the war kittens? they're coming off a huge win over seattle. has their offense finally found their groove? meanwhile, the assassins are on the tail end of a brutal 6 game stretch where they've been beat up in the first 4 games.

the beatdown continues.
41-13

albany death 0-8 vs. carson city cubes 6-2:

cubed.
96-3

las vegas wildcats 1-7 vs. michigan panthers 8-0:

oh dear.
88-6

by the numbers:
length of time for a fractured scaphoid to recover: 6-12 weeks.

Maybe my mom and her Gene Simmons tongue can handle the tough work and give the wrist the break it needs?

Thanks for these, I read them post game and still enjoyed them.

Hopefully you either have a wife, girlfriend or a massage parlor to do the things every man must do during this time of healing.
