I know this post is mainly for HB's but please read on as it effects LB's also.
Tell me what you think cause I just soft capped vision on my Lvl 22 ROLB

It mainly affects the LB on pitch plays as they'll spot the play and try and take a straight angle and plow right into blockers, while LB'ers with low vision just kinda flow with the play but don't commit and end up in a great spot to make the play.

Other than pitches, LBers really have no problem with high vision. It really helps you get a jump on a play in many situations. I've seen my guy switch coverage before a ball is thrown or get a huge jump on stuffing a run play (we don't blitz). It's just pitches that tend to kill high vision secondary.

This can be off set a bit by not stuffing the box and playing the secondary back off the line, but that brings up other issues.

My LOLB has been in coverage on the TE/HB and quickly ran over to deflect a pass to the WR running behind him.

It's also been said by Bort that if you have a high enough vision, you can see the play coming before it happens. While everyone drops back in coverage, you rush the RB and get him for a loss.

I would absolutely agree with this as I have noticed it in my LB.

I haven't really seem this with vision around 40 ish...in fact I feel like my LBs play the pitch pretty well, and my SS even better with higher vision than that.

What level of vision seems to cause problems?

This is true also. My LB does that a lot. (btw, my LB has the highest vision I've seen for perhaps any LB in this game...there may be some with more vision, but I haven't seen them) I should say that if you look at my stats for last season, I was absolutely certain that I was doing the right thing by helping to increase his reaction time. As a LOLB, he finished second in the league in tackles, and had plenty of FF's and PD's to go along with that.

This season, for some reason his numbers are down (and no, his build has not changed significantly since then. He has had 50+ vision since the start of season 3, and now has 60+). I am not sure why, but I have seen him getting blocked by OL and TE's more and more on running plays, and I think a lot of it has to do with what has already been talked about in this thread. He is quick to react to the play, but usually it means running straight into blockers.
