I never knew quite how much TSE loved himself until today.

I wonder what your love life is like. Do you tell girls they can't go out with you because you value yourself as $10k while you only value them as $50 so therefore they can't go on a date with you unless they give you $9,950 cash to make the date an equal payoff?

No, I don't recall saying anything like that. And I think my love for my team is demonstrated a lot more than for myself with my posts. If I was a girl I wouldn't go out with me, I'm too picky and detail oriented to deal with.

You have to look at the values of the bets and the odds...
If I value my team at $10k, and he values his team at $1k (I value his team at $50 in what it is worth to myself), then a 50/50 shot of us winning or even an 80/20 shot of us winning isn't enough to justify the amount of money I'm risking on the game, I am risking a 20 percent chance on the high end of those odds of losing $10,000, but I'm not seeing anything that I can profit from in winning. If he wanted to lay out 2Gs into it then that's a different story, but what he's offering doesn't equate to a couple thousand dollars to match up with what I'm risking.

Changing just the team names is the same concept just on a smaller scale, he'd be asking me to change the name of something that is worth far more than his team. I'm not going to take a bet that doesn't have an equal payoff to me.

So it is supposedly not an even bet because you like your team more than he likes his? Every time I think I've seen you say the most absurd thing I can imagine you come back and outdo yourself again. I have to give you points for creativity and rhetorical imagination but this does not border on ludicrous - it blows right past it.
