Wow. Swords are now 6-3 and you are saying 7-9? Thats a joke...

<sigh> As with the million, we have been over this. This is NOT our opinion, this is a spreadsheet that calculates the projection based on previous results. There is no bias in there, no lack of respect, no overrating or underrating, just math.

I appreciate your efforts with this analysis but I'd be interested in seeing the way you're calculating your results.

Again, no rancor here but the sheet has the FTAs going 1 and 6 the rest of the way even though we play the 2 16th ranked teams in the the league (who are both supposed to lose the rest of their games). Certainly not out of the realm of possibility but even so.

It's got the Monarch winning out even though they play the Lumberjacks who are also supposed to win out.

Just curious what the results are based on.

Well, like a lot of teams this season, your big games are still coming up.

Yup. Valhalla was a gimme.

You've got Berlin, AWC, and Woodridge, all 3 I'd predict you to lose.

Nothing against those teams, who are extremely good, but I don't think we lose all 3. C'mon, we've beaten 4 of the current 8 playoff teams and we make up another. That leaves those 3 playoff teams...

I am afraid I can't answer that. Not because I don't want to, but because I really can't. The spreadsheet Hampe and I are using was put together by a user called Satchmo-n-Dizzy at some point in season two. I think he made it for US Pro, but made it available for everyone during last season, and as the results were surprisingly accurate we decided to run it for WEPL as well. You just put in all teams and their schedule, and all results, and go with the output. I never checked on the formulas used, it's just a bit of fun. I have the impression though that this season the predictions are a bit further off than they were last season.

You've beaten, imo, 3 of the 4 worst playoff teams. Valhalla was a good win but I'm not sure they are going to continue on their current pace.

Berlin, AWC & Woodridge (in no particular order) are the class of Alpha this season.

Nice how you seem to see the Mercenaries game as a gimme for you guys. Good thing these things are decided on the sim field ...

I don't see how what you quoted makes it seem like I think it's a gimme. Our 3 losses come to teams not currently in the playoff picture if the season ended today.

When I said "that leaves those 3 playoff teams...," I didn't mean that those were the only games left on the schedule. I meant those were the only 3 current playoff teams on our schedule. I meant what I said; I did not imply a thing.

I see Toledo finishing around 8-8 as they are about to start a brutal stretch of games.
