There's just so many bad games this week. I'm going on strike (actually, I'm just drunk, so, let this be a lesson to the kiddies about drinking and thoroughness). On to the picks.
Seattle Reign (5-2) vs. Pontiac War Kittens (4-3):
Other than the Megatropolis Tigers, the Reign have struggled to defeat a "Quality Opponent" this season. The Kittens, meanwhile, have simply struggled no matter who they've faced. In Columbus, where football is king, the press wonders if the change to a 3-4 defense is what is been the key ailment to this once prominent team. No words from the coach, perhaps he knows something we don't. The Kittens here, look to make a statement in a game that could go a long way towards solidifying, or completely questioning their playoff spot.
I think the Kittens pull through, despite a hard challenge from Seattle, in the only compelling game of the week.
23-17
Really, the rest of the games this week aren't very compelling, so there's no reason to even speak about them.
By the numbers:
# of drinks I've had since the last write-up: 74.
# of custom equipment acquired by Francis "Space" Tractor: 1.
# of incompletions by 3rd string QB, Tory Foster, for Michigan: 0.
More complete write-up next week, as there's some actual decent games on the slate.
