Weren't you on Chilton?

Well the last thing I would want to do is publicly drag someone through the mud, since Jesus was one of my first signings for this team. I always looked at him as a cornerstone.. but he had several strikes against him, which is totally acceptable for him to play the game, but not acceptable to the franchise at this point.

He was not a forum guy, he never posted, he would go inactive for 2-3 days multiple times a season, he does not boost, does not use custom equipment, and his build is very weak on confidence, and vision, and strength was still two levels away from soft cap. If he was hitting FGs, I'd let it slide.. but 2 of 7 from 30-49 yards was costing us games.

He's not bad if anyone else wants him, but when he misses his first FG attempt, it's pretty much 50/50 on every other FG and XP.

I was on Chilton. Took advantage of the CPU ownership craze to let my contract expire. I felt it was time to move onto another team, I was tired of posting a losing record every single season, and we'd still never be relegated. It got to the point my owner asked Bort to be relegated to an AA league.

Shame, I'm gonna miss the trash talk.

Ironic; you almost singlehandedly won the game for them.

Nice job krazy, and GG.

I thought Chilton was only a couple players away from being a really good team, but it's dam hard to recruit those players to a losing team. Hell it's hard to recruit them to a winning team.

Well, Chilton was a bit... schizophrenic in playing pattern. One season, we'd have a decent defense with no offense, then we'd get some offense and suddenly we'd lose our defense, getting blown out in most every game.

I don't know why I'm still using "we" when talking about Chilton. I want nothing to do with them anymore. They would have to make radical changes to become a playoff team in that tough league. Problem simply was they didn't belong in the AAA #2, but because there were always two teams worse than they were that were gutted, they'd keep staying in the AAAs. I was tired of it. Did what I had to and took a step back.
