right.... but who's the better team?

the better team doesn't always win in GLB.

this tourny would be better timed in the offseason when there would be a level playing field and less excuses

I have DDL as a slight underdog in their next tournament game due to levels. I don't think they are going to be able to make up the difference this time.

Well 2 years ago in AAA we got all the bad breaks in several close games that we lost, but this year we are getting the wins in the close games, and this Fresno game should be another really close one. It could come down to late in the 4th quarter before a winner is decided.

I'd really like to see a USA Pro champions vs Canada Pro champions match arranged straight after the playoffs to at least provide a semi-clear picture of the relative strengths of the leagues.

At worst, it removes all the 'we didn't boost/they boosted' stuff that messes up a tournament like this.

We'll see how everyone feels, but we could make arrangements to delay the games til everyone is boosted for the final 4 teams.

Maybe play on the last day of the regular season and then on the first day of the playoffs or something?

The league match-up sounds like a good idea though, but at this point the best leagues are Eastern Europe and SE Asia.

We can, but no one wants to play a tournament during the playoffs and Bort isn't going to hold up the start of a new season so that tournaments can be played.

The only time to do a tournament as the schedule stands right now... is towards the end of the regular season (like we are doing).

The other problem with a match-up of champions is that some contracts are going to expire on day 40, so some teams will be playing short handed.

Which isn't much good, as the final 4 teams could very well not be the best 4 teams.

Any team (within reason) can beat any time.

They boosted a LOT of their players, you played them on an even boosting level. We are also a 3.5 point underdog in the game.

Chicago gets a lot of love, but you guys might actually have the best DLine in the league.

I would love to see how my O-line does against DDL's DEs. We allowed 0 sacks and only 6 hurries all year in Canada Pro. We even shut down the great GReddy Twin Turbo who WRECKED one US PRO team already (10 sacks). He has like 39 real ones in league play also.

DDL's D-line vs Adriana Lima's O-line would be a good battle.
