I am curious why so many folks on here believe that the physical ability vision is what activates the Tunnel Vision SA to function.

Tunnel Vision description: Increases the chance of engaging in Tunnel Vision and the bonus to speed and agility.

Is there some cryptic message I am missing? For example, Juke for a HB says takes higher levels of agility to pull off successfully.

I guess I am confused why it is such a common belief that these SA's are triggered from an ability. It seems they modify a particular ability and perhaps the higher an ability it is, then if the modifier is a percentage than you get more "bang for the buck". Is it documented by Bort that these SA's require high physical abilities to "trigger"?

Not trigger, but some people think vision is also improved when it activates. The higher the attribute, the bigger bonus you get from the activation.

Chance to activate is only increased by putting more points into the SA, even says it when you scroll over it.

Ok. WHy do people think it helps vision? Would it say, increases the bonus to speed, agility, and vision?

Maybe because it has vision in its name?

I figure you need to spot the QB before you can actually go into tunnel vision mode.

That doesnt make any sense. A name is a name. I am pretty sure if it effected vision it would say so in the descriptor as it does for speed and agility.

Eagle may be more in line with a response that makes sense in regards to vision is used to actually "spot" the quarterback.

Because there is no tunnel attribute.

Well I think vision helps you anticipate and/or see the play develop. The faster you see a pass play the faster tunnel vision can get triggered and the faster you get to the QB.

I have seen plays where the DE hesitates just a little bit. Then whips around the end (with 50 spd, 5 in first step, 68 agility). By the time he gets there the QB has already passed. So I don't think it directly helps trigger Tunnel Vision nor does Tunnell Vision help vision itself.

Per the guide vision can "It's also sort of the "6th sense" of predicting what your opponent is going to do when blocking or trying to break blocks" I think it just helps you anticipate plays and react faster. Which helps everything not just Tunnell Vision.

Not everyone in the game plays to the best of what little knowledge they may have.

What I'm saying is, there are a lot of dumb agents out there.
