When I first started playing this game I loved it and embraced it, mainly due to the fact I had a level 4 QB (after boosting) and got to start!

At first the game was full of noobs and nobody knew what they were doing, then finally some people caught on to the game and they excelled.

That was me at season 2, when I led the league in passing yards (I was third during the first season), now it's almost impossible to play that consistent. Hell I threw for only 53 yards in one game this season! WTF???

My stats are insane too for my level. I got 79 throwing 50+ vision and strength and 39 confidence. The main thing though is my top skill tree is 7/7/5/5/7.

So, what's going on? The shit is all random...there's like no skill anymore, no fun. The only way a QB excels now at this level is to play against weak teams. The WR's got nerfed and if your running game sucks then you are screwed. Teams are almost all even now which basically creates a random shit-storm.

You might throw for 300 yards in one game and 50 in the next, lol...

How many others are realizing this now?

Naw man it's not just that, trust me. Pit two even teams up against each other and watch one team score like 30 points and the other like 10 points...

Receivers and game plan also should be taken into account. You want individual glory? Try a golf sim.

Completely agree. It should be next to impossible to have a player that always has a great season, or game. Always wanting to be the best is unrealistic. Everyone should definitely strive to be the best, however, it would make no sense if we were all the best?! I think you pretty much summed it up in your previous statement. Everyone else has caught on, and they are performing well too, which means it should be harder for you to do so well. PONG said it best, even if you have a great build, you can't control your WR's play, or the AI's settings, or the way the other teams are going to play. Everyone as stepped up, obviously you feel something is lacking, figure it out! Instead of coming out here and complaining because your stats aren't as pretty, get your team back on track, talk to the other GM's, talk to the WR's, check out your Defensive backs, find out what they are doing to improve their game.

Game planning can make a big difference between 2 evenley matched teams.

Gameplan and supporting cast are VERY important to a QB's success...

agreed

pretty funny, look at his stats, he had one bad game and all the rest have been very good to great.
he makes it seem like he does 50 yards or 350 each game.

your having your best season yet

It's not really random, it just depends on what team he has around him and what type of gameplan there is. My Qb's had his ups and downs, but it's still wildly inconsistent, even though most of my attributes are in the right spot.

I just think QB's have the least impact on offense. I've seen QB's with horrible builds go on to succeed, while some QB's with great builds just get miserable stats game after game.


But dude, I know exactly how you feel. I don't have hardly as much interest in GLB as I did when I first joined. From a QB's standpoint, everything just seems so random.

A teams WR's count WAY too much into how good the QB does. Something I think should be fixed. Also, if you're team passes a lot, the other teams probably scout for that. Of if you don't pass a lot, they probably scout that too. Try a game where you totally change your offensive system. you might be surprised how good the other teams in your conference really are.
