Have any low str 1:1 speed-agi WRs had any success with combo style running?

I ask because with elusive often the WR will make slight turns that are a detriment to full speed and sometimes wouldn't be necessary if they just ran forward fast.

Or is combo only a means to sometimes break tackles via powering through?

I would test it myself, but I am making other changes to my WR between games and wouldn't be able to guage the effectiveness without those other elements skewing the outcome.

I changed mine to combo because last season in the playoffs my guy juked instead of streaking into the endzone on the last play of the game which would have won it. Seems to be working so far with 20ish strength.

Play in question:

You've almost convinced me with the one post considering your stats last season vs this season thus far, but I still have doubts

Things I'm worried about are:

Increased frequency of fumbles due to the player thinking they should rely more on strength than agility

Idiotically running straight into a group instead of moving around when it's actually appropriate

I really wish we had more advanced offensive tactics. lol

What other changes have you made from last season to this if you don't mind me asking?

ive been thinking about it this way. even if he "stutter steps" only half as much as my guy does on elusive, itll still be 100000 times more than he needs to. im doing kick and punt returns, which is a great way to see the effect of this, and im switching from elusive to combo.

Honestly not much other than adding some confidence and strength, bit of vision.
