Power backs just rolling over LB's now. I think strength backs should be tweaked down a couple notches, but has that changed the way you guys are building your LBs?

I am building a low level LB, and I wanted to reach the soft cap in speed first, but now I am considering going for the soft cap in strength, especially since my guys still seems to move pretty well without high speed/agi at his current level and I want to build him to be a MLB anyways.(level 3)

Anyone build a LB going for strength first and how did it work out for you?

I am having the ILBs on my team max out strength first and it is working fine for us. Not many missed tackles and no one can run up the middle

I think I'm going to try the Strength route as well.

ILBs should have had strength all along. Way too many people in GLB got way too speed happy, like it was the only thing that matters.

Can someone tell me what the speed and strength caps are for LB's?
Thanks!

Just wait and see. People will start developing their neglected strength and tackle abilities and the whole OP pow RB thing will fade. Next season, it will be the elusive guys that will have the field opened up for them a bit because the defenses will have put more effort into str and tackle.

My LOLB has just around 20-21 Strength and I have missed only 7 tackles in my career. Get your tackling above 25 and set your style to wrap-up and you won't miss many tackles.

I've seen LBs with 40 str, 40+ tkl, and set to wrap-up tackling, and still miss 3 tackles in a game.

Could be poor vision and/or condidence.

Now that I think about it, their confidence was low.

My LB has 50 Str and 40 tackling and was set to Power Tackling against an even team and didn't miss any tackles.

Aura of INT works well and reduces missed tackles.
