Reports are swirling amidst the Rock Quarry offices. The owners, GMs, coaches and players are unhappy and restless after their disappointing loss today to the San Jose Spartans. Coach suhgamer didn't talk to reporters after the game and was seen having a stern conversation with the teams GM committee, but knightdemon was heard yelling this to the team in the locker room, "I thought the rush D was the strength of our team but apparently that wasn't the case...they were driving the Ferrari's and we were peddling tricycles!!"
Knightdemon, a member of the GM committee did have this to say in regards to what the team has in store for future moves in the personal department, "Winning the division and falling just short of the championship in the best league in the game today was not a bad year, by any means...we need new faces that are gonna put us over the hump next season and beyond".
Rumor has it the team is looking for top level, elite talent, not newly created players, but guys that have been around the block and want a winning team in the top league in the land. The main positions of concern are LB, CB, FS, SS, WR and OG. The team is looking for players that want to make the jump to the top league in the land. The team is expected to except and open the doors to trade talks.
After the locker room cleared and offices emptied, another member of the GM committee, softball god, was also asked about the teams future in the free agency and he was quoted, "We're scouting all the leagues, all of them. We're going to be putting fellers out there to find players that want to be part of a top USA Pro team. Not a AA or BBB team, a Pro team and on top of that the USA Pro. So we're hoping to find some interest and go from there."
Looks like the team has big ideas, big moves in store. The team has taken a break since they took over in season 0 and it doesn't look like they'll rest anytime soon. Be on the lookout for some major roster moves.
