just wondering what you guys think to linebacker special abilities. Personally i think if you are an inside guy then the hard hitter tree can be useful if you get the general ability, but if you are an outside linebacker, then the pass rusher tree seems pretty useless. I've not sunk a single point into a tree yet. What do you guys think to it?

I don't know yet, just added 2 points into Shed Block to see how that works. I think that the basic attributes are SO much more important.

?? Wow you're friendly. I've just been listening to guys on other forums and they've been saying similar things, that only the last ability of the hardhitter tree seems useful for an inside guy. And when i look at the descriptions for each of the pass rusher abilities, they just don't sound very appealing at all, say in comparison to abilities for a DE or CB.

personally I really like Aura of Int. Check out this play in yesterday's game and tell me if you dont think it probably had something to do with the FF. Notice the ball carrier hardly appeared to be touched. I will also add that I was playing on wrap-up and neither my strength or tackling are above 40.

And how many points have you added in Aura?
A lot of questions, I know.. But I would appreciate the tips. I have a Level 22 LOLB as well, and is pretty much capped at the major skills - so I've been looking for something else to focus on. So if Aura actually works, I would like to get it going.

I play ROLB as a LVL 16 in a 4-3 and have found the hard hitter tree to be useful when covering the TE in zone situations I have closed and FF in the open field after a catch....its not a huge addition to my arsenal but it does help.
