They tore us up too in our scrimmage game. We have made some changes to our AI since then and I would hope that we could limit them to less yards. But who knows till you actually play.

I'm not hating on Byron. He's a good back no doubt at all. Good build and does well. I'm just saying that a good back/great back in a wonky sim = GOD!



I'm really not hapy at all with how CB's have been relegated to crap status something fierce too.

seriously? he had a ridiculous amount of broken tackles and you guys were all set to wrap up? that doesn't seem fair.

i think it's a little weird. Byron was a good player before, but with the tweaks bort made i think he might have tweaked a little too far so as to make byron's build superhuman. having over 20 broken tackles in a game where all the opposing team is set to wrap up is just a little too much...unless i have the perfect build for the new rules...i guess...i dunno, but i think the game against louisiana will tell the story.

i've been on wrapup the whole season, not sure exactly what i'm lacking that i can't make a tackle.

enough to know this is all bullshit and once the rest of my fp is up i'm out. sadly, i have a decent amount to go.

nah c'mon man, bort'll make the right tweaks with enough people complaining about it.

i've been fed up alot lately too, especially this season, my DEs and DTs are getting crapped on. but i have faith that bort will make the right tweaks to get the sims playing right again.

he basically nerfed tackling when he changed the stats. for me personally, i think the chance of causing fumbles should have been upped with the power style tackling but misses should have been greatly increased, but instead it seems like tackling stat got nerfed a lot, and now everybody has to have a 45+ in order to get consistent performance.

yeah the sims are definitely a little funny, right now 7 backs in the league are on pace for 40+ touchdowns, right now my team has two backs on pace to break 1500 yards, thats crazy especially since one of our 4 games, the ground game got completely shut down

if he keeps going the way he is, Byron will have 80 TDs and 3000 yards this season. something is definitely wrong and judging by the performance of my other players i would have to say that the O lines have been buffed to ridiculous levels.

my killer DE has only averaged maybe 2 tackles a game and he used to KILL shit last season. all of me D linemen are sucking the hind tit now and it kinda sucks.

combine the new tackling rules and the increases in O line abilities and the running game is just ridiculously tough now.

bort needs to find the happy medium.

I've argued on the bug forum that there is something wrong with the run game, and most specifically with the pitch play, but I have people telling me I just don't know how to defense it. This is in spite that I'm posting where my team is getting ridiculous numbers of 50+ yard runs. I think they've screwed up run blocking and compounded it by making the defense tend to get worse reads.

PS...Byron is clearly a monster as well. We've got Byner catching up on the yardage, but the TD's are off the hook

Worst part about Byron is the tough part of our schedule was our first half of the season, and the easy part is the last half, so It could get worse fellas...
