Edit: Nevermind, I just realized that the long snapper is in also during field goal plays so that would make it not possible to put the kicker in there.

Has anyone tried this to get their kickers some extra plays?

The Long snapper is only in during Punts so I assume that will be okay correct?

You could put a backup Kicker there I guess...but not many teams carry more than 1.

I checked to see if I could add my kicker to the LS position on the depth chart. You can't.

Maybe list both as long snapper, the kicker would snap to the punter, and the punter to the kicker?

You can, just remove your kicker from the kicking depth chart and then he can be added as a long snapper. Then go back to kicking and relist him.
