Perception is reality. You lose one game and you quit? The hell with that! We've lost every regular season game for two straight seasons trying to rebuild someone's gutted team. The best time to of done this would of been in the off-season, not after two games and one loss. Crap like this is what throws the league for a loop and ruins the game. I can understand you wanting to give up one of your teams, I've been stretched out like that before myself. but doing it mid-season is tough on everyone involved; from the new owner to the teams you have played (well Ambridge probably wouldn't say it was too tough,
) I'll predict right now, this team will win no more games this year, and will be lucky to crack the scoreboard. $16 million dollars or no, it's going to be next to impossible to put a competitive product on the field there for this season and possibly next. Been there, bought the t-shirt.
There's no doubt the timing could have been better, but he didn't completely gut the team. He left the new owner with plenty of money to get started and a note in the team forum to help him out in the beginning. This is a lot better than a lot of other owners have done.
