Perception is reality. You lose one game and you quit? The hell with that! We've lost every regular season game for two straight seasons trying to rebuild someone's gutted team. The best time to of done this would of been in the off-season, not after two games and one loss. Crap like this is what throws the league for a loop and ruins the game. I can understand you wanting to give up one of your teams, I've been stretched out like that before myself. but doing it mid-season is tough on everyone involved; from the new owner to the teams you have played (well Ambridge probably wouldn't say it was too tough, ) I'll predict right now, this team will win no more games this year, and will be lucky to crack the scoreboard. $16 million dollars or no, it's going to be next to impossible to put a competitive product on the field there for this season and possibly next. Been there, bought the t-shirt.

There's no doubt the timing could have been better, but he didn't completely gut the team. He left the new owner with plenty of money to get started and a note in the team forum to help him out in the beginning. This is a lot better than a lot of other owners have done.

anyone could look good when your comparing them to the worst. Yeah other owners have done worse, but other owners have done better too. A great owner would have left them with the team that was there.

Speaking only for myself, I was glad to leave the team after he decided to sell it. I signed to play with JFrost, not someone else. It's much better for the new owner to be able to recruit guys that want to play for him, not be stuck with guys who might not want to play for him.

You really think 1 loss was the reason he sold the team? really? and you are calling him a quitter because he didnt have time to play an online game?

Because i was the OC for his team and despite a few unnecessary losses, he didnt get rid of me. if you have a problem with the way BBB 14 is now, then you can always make the team better and get out.

Bigmo6967: I understand you inherited a gutted team and (I believe) went winless for two straight seasons. It sucks to be stuck in that situation, I get it. It's frustrating to see other have to struggle through the rebuilding process like you did. Please understand that I say this with all due respect, but shut the fuck up if you don't know the situation.

Frost owns one team, GMs three other, and has 14 players he manages. He decided that owning another team was too much for him, so he sold it back and left it in the best shape possible for the new owner. If he had sold the team back while keeping everyone on the roster, then he would have been doing wrong by his players. I sure as hell didn't want to stay, knowing I would be under contract for two season with a new owner. Who knows if this guy has a clue what he's doing. I don't want my player rotting that long under crap management, and I doubt anyone else on that team did either. Frost easily could have taken the money and run, but he left 15 mil in the bank for the new guy to build his stadium and recruit players that made a choice to be there. I don't know about anyone else, but if I owned a team I would want a team full of players who chose to be there and not players from the old regime who might not want to be there.

Not so much upset with him dropping the team, but the timing sucked. A FYI, I've got 30 players, own a team, and GM three others myself. If you have good GM's to handle scouting, tactics, recruiting, etc; owning a team is much less time intensive than being a scout or a coordinator. So frankly I'm going to play the world's smallest violin for Frost's predicament, because it's the same as mine and I can obviously deal with it and work a 40+ hour a week job while raising my son and being a good husband to my wife. If he was so certain and convincing in his argument to give up the team, then perhaps he could of done it before the season began instead of screwing with the standings by playing two games and then deciding that he couldn't do it. The guy has obviously been in the game a few seasons. Don't expect me digest a line of bullshit that he just woke up the other day and it finally dawned on him that he can't handle it. I'm throwing the flag on that one. Complete and utter bullshit.

Now if it had something to do with the player movement to Little Haiti the week prior to the sale, then we may actually be talking something more believable. That one trade in 20 days thing kind of prevented you from doing the full rape you wanted, but I have no doubts that a lot of those players from the Rampage will be wearing a Voodoo uniform next season. Now let me know if I'm getting warmer.........

Rampage to Voodoo: I don't know if anyone is headed there or not. I know I'm not, and I'm pretty sure most of the key players were under contract through season 5 when they were traded.

Timing: I already said that I think the timing sucked. However, he did a ton of recruiting and planning in the offseason, and I doubt he would have done that if he planned on selling the team this soon.

Much props to fiding the time to handle that big of a workload on here. I work 40+ a week and do the whole fiancee/father thing with two kids, and I barely have the energy to turn on the computer, much less play GLB.

Meat just drop it brother. I have realized that it isn't gonna get any better. Let them be gone and good luck to them. We have better things to focus on.
