Warrior General Games

We have 2 beat writers, but both just cover our team. One covers community and personnel stuff, the other covers game recaps etc.

Actually the newspaper is just getting off the ground what I would like to see happen is that we get game recaps with top performers and game highlights and once a month we do in depth interviews with selected coaches. First thing is getting the staff in place I have the web site where the newspaper is going to be located I have the templates for the Head Editors to use just need to get all the positions filled and coordinate this where the paper will come out every two days hopefully an hour or at the most two hours after the games complete in their divisions.

I am still looking to get positions filled this will be an awesome paper to get started to keep up with events of the game and to see how other teams are doing in other divisions and leagues.

well mudds that is what we are doing it for is free it gives the players here more than just come and play they can get more involved with the game.

A lot of questions regarding what the different positions entail so I thought I would explain it here.

Writers - basically these guys are the grunts they get the scores,highlights,and top player performance for whatever league they are covering. Each article will be on a deadline so these writers have to be reliable.

Proof reader - These guys check over the articles that are submitted and make sure there are no spelling and grammar errors. There duties are also to make sure that the writers are getting the articles that are supposed to be printed for the day.

Editor - There main function is take articles that the proof reader has submitted and putting all of the articles in consequential order and submitting them to the Head Editor. Included with this responsibility is to hold meetings with the writers and proof readers making sure that each is aware of the deadline. They are also in charge of certain league and to make sure the whole league is covered.

Head Editor - His responsibility includes the whole continent of teams is covered and submitted on time. He then uploads all information to the FTP site to be printed out for his continent.

Web coordinator - To take all FTP submitted articles and organize them into the web site for the days printing. Each day there will be new articles that will be submitted his responsibility will include making all articles are updated daily at the web site so that everyone will be able to view the articles.

Web Author - Make sure the web site is up and running and to add new web pages as they become necessary to run the paper on the web site.

Ok basically that is the break down of each position. Web Coordinator and Web Author right now I have 1 and that is me if someone is familiar with HTML or Bravehost you can contact me and we can talk about you coming in and helping me with those two jobs.
