I boosted it from 5 to 8 when I boosted at the beginning of the season. I saw an immediate result with my best # of tackles yet. Not an amazing amount, but I got 7.
Not sure if it is really worth it though, prior to that I had always just pumped strength and never made plays, but no one could ever run on us. Now people have been able to run on us, but that might just be the stupid overpowered blocking this season.
