They are trading everyone. Too bad, kinda liked all the teams in our league.

Why is everyone leaving? I guess not enough time anymore. Our League was the toughest. Lets hope it stays that way

Yeah, I'm done being an owner. I'd rather hit myself in the head with a hammer than own another team. Good luck to everybody.

I almost got pissed enough to leave after they nerfed the speed. The entire flashpoint defense had trained together on speed, and after we got hammered in the preseason, I had had it.

But Bort was reasonable about unchanging the changes. He is good at making the game playable.

I just hope that mistake didnt cost him too many participants.

I think most were leaving because the SIM is obviously broken. When a team of players with 90 speed and less than 20 in everything else can win the Championship the last 3 season, something has to change.

Until the SIM become more realistic, poeple will slowly loss interest and head to something better. I for one will be leaving if this seasons changes don't fix the obvious flaws. I can only support this game so much before it becomes a lost cause.

The speed/agility fix Bort put in was a big step in the right direction. What isn't is a RB scoring 11 TD or a QB throwing for 600 yards. Until things like this are fixed, Pro Bowl and eventually HOF selection will mean diddly.

I dont think thats a sim issue, mailstrom, I think thats a blatant talent disparity (no offense to anyone) due to gutted teams. I Think now the sim is better than it was in the offseason and last season, which is my point. They will fix it when they get it wrong.

and.. no one was winning with 90 speed and nothing else. If so, I cant see how, every player I built like that is retired due to total incompetence. This is a myth.

Flame has been showing his team slowly. His RB had 80speed and 27 agility with all other stats 20 or less. He then showed his WR and the same tale 90 Speed 30ish agility and 20 catch.

He has won with this formula the last three years. The game was not suppose to work like this, that's what I meant when I said broken. When you can make your player with just 1 stat and still be compete, something needs to change. Most here, I hope, want a challenge. But if a 1 stat wonder can win it shows that this game is still to infantile to even be at the Beta level.

From my understanding, it isn't so much that they had "speed" it was that they were different. The players were built different than any other player. Just like how if you build a DE with tons of agility, they are very effective. This game takes originality sometimes. Some WRs with high punting seem to be very effective. I think it doesn't just say: WRs should have speed, agility, stamina, vision, jumping, and catching (carrying too I guess). It looks at the broad spectrum. If a WR with 90 speed can catch the ball, ask Devin Hester who can catch them.

Look how effective Devin Hester is at WR. At most he will be a slot because he isn't disciplined in his route running or catching with his hands. If he wasn't exceptional at KR/PR would he be playing WR or even CB on another team? I don't think so, maybe as a backup.

He is defiantly a product of his speed, agility and vision. That's three attributes if we can break it down like that, not just 1. All that just to be a great return man and a mediocre CB/WR.

This whole thread is really off-topic, but anyway, no he wouldn't be in the NFL at all. When he got drafted everyone knew he'd only be a return man.

Did anyone watch games when he was at Miami? Because I saw him at WR and CB, and he sucks at both. You can't play corner if you can't cover receivers. You can't play WR if you can't run routes. Anything can happen, but I think he'll fail at WR this year.
