with the changes to carrying, what do you guys think are good levels of carrying to aim for? I think mine is way too low at 33 for level 17, got carried away with speed, which has also left me screwed now that agility is all the rage

It really depends what you have as your strength & if you have any points in the cover up ability also.

what he said. Depends. Personally Id aim for 35-40 for powerbacks by level 25 and higher for elusive backs

My powerback has 30 right now and has only fumbled 3 times in 2 seasons. As the rest of the league around me levels up I will be raising it.

I plan on soft capping carrying as it helps cause less fumbles and helps break tackles. Breaking tackles is more important for a power back then speed. I rather be the power back that breaks a ton of tackles and rarely gets stuck in the back field and can get those 4 or 5 yards when you need it (especially on 3rd downs), then be the power back with OK strength and OK carrying and has enough speed to go far but only gets lucky when breaking tackles and gets tackled for a loss a lot.

What I'm trying to say is that power backs should soft cap strength and carrying to break tackles and have speed and agility (mainly for acceleration) go up after.

I think I'm with Shaun I have an elsusive back with 16 strength and 30 carrying and he broke 10 tackles 1st game.

as an experiment, i changed all my equipment [not custom] and made it all into strength rather than speed. brought my speed down a bit, but took strength up to 28 from 18, and i had no fumbles today with 3 broken tackles.... im not sure i ever broke a tackle before lol
