We used you as guinea pigs. I set the rushing to do only one sort of rush play per quarter as a test of the advanced AI settings.

Evidently advanced AI settings, even when forced, do not always follow what you tell them to do.

Good to know.

Also, just to share knowledge with the USA BBB#6 - Per Bort, the length of a play has no effect on rushing plays. So you really can;t do anything with the advanced AI functions to get the sort of formation you want on rush plays. You get what the sim gives you.

I would never read to much in to any Scrim game.
I will assume that we are all testing out little things. I know we've basically found ourselves a whole new offence with the RB and WR and it's a lot more fun when you have completely different options and having teams try to figure out what to try and stop.

Yeah, I'm happy with the performance of some folks and the deph chart worked better than I had expected for Receivers. I'm happy with my ability to ensure that for most games I can tweak settings very easily now to ensure everyone gets playing ime as it is almost as important to provide fun for all our players and give them a chance to make plays and gain experience as it is to actually win the game.

So knowing I can ensure players are in for 35+ plays is a good thing. And having Bort respond and confirm I can't do anything at all to influence running game formations on plays means I have much less time invested in trying to make the 'perfect' offensive scheme as I know I'm not able to actually call the play outside of rush/pass and pass length.

So, more tweaks for the next Scrimmage and then its off to the races. Hope we can see you guys in the playoffs!

As for the formation, I am suprised but am sure they will add that level of detail soon enough.

Yeah, I was surprised as well. I was hoping to be able to call draw plays based on a nice replay I saw where a QB delayed a nice long time and then ran up the middle for 10+ yards. I was all ecstatic and like.. OH yeah! Maybe I can really design some plays.

Then boom, Sim dissapoints and Bort confirms. If anyone wants a link to the thread in the Bugs section I'll post it. I'm not trying to mess with anyones plans. Just trying to save folks the time if they were trying to tweak plays like I was.
