honestly stfu

you got a team in a better situation then the origonal owner did

what did you expect when you got a BBB team , a team full of lvl 20+ players signed till season 10

you got basically what every other owner in the league got to start off with , so be happy

I didn't hear him complaining. He's just asking for a little help/advice.

the whole first half of his post is complaining

Read it again?

I just read it as background info for why he was feeling in over his head. Perhaps I just chose not to read it as complaining. And, even if it is complaining, let him complain -- it doesn't affect me, so why would I take it personally and need to respond to the complaining?

Anyway, bottom line is the guy is asking for help.

I agree, I told Cane_boy to read it again. Didn't seem like whining to me, just stated some facts and asked for help.

What's really funny is that we're spending a lot of time debating whether or not he is whining, but none of us are helping him.

Jury is still out, but maybe nobody wants to help a whiner? SNIZZAP!

Cane Boy is an idiot. Whines all the time, then complains when someone else does?

Shoot me a PM mate, and I'll see if I can help out a bit. No time to take an active role really, though.

I'll have to agree with GM here that the team wasn't gutted as I was on the team. Most of the contracts had just expired and then when he came in he said anyone that would like to be released simply ask for it and you will be. My contract was up less than halfway throught the season and the only reason I had gone to the team with those players was to help out the old owner that was a friend from a different team.

Now that being said I think it'd be in his best interest to actually just play this season out with CPU players with minimal contracts to try and get money to upgrade his stadium further and then make a run next year as the league he's in, BBB#7, I'm also in and most of the teams in there are all already avg lvl 19+ for starters so he'll have little to no chance as well unless he recruits the leftovers in which case he'll be battling with 1-2 other new owners of the teams that are all being rebuilt, one of which actually got a lot of high players to avg out at about 20+.

So take it how you want but you might be best off just playing the season out like I said expecting to lose advertising for next season to players for them to join your team and your reasoning why you chose to go the route you did and playing with the different tactics and learning them for the next season.

Get your facts straight that team was not gutted. Sorry to tell you.

Yes, because most non-gutted teams have 25 CPU players.

I was the GM for the team before he got it.

What a douchebag. The guy just wanted to see if someone could help him. Aholes abound here.

That's good advice. Maybe even go a step further and sign all level 1 CPUs and cut the higher priced CPUs. Take your lumps, build cash as much as you can. Take out a loan right before the season rollover and build all the stadium sections you can.
