I'm gonna slow-train catching to 18.XX then put the 30 SPs from my boosts all into catching to soft cap it.

Has anyone done this/should I not do this?

I am adamant against plugging it into speed, as everyone has done that and I wanna try something 'new' per say.

I've seen a WR that had 20 speed that had high catching, agility, jumping and str that owned. He had many catches for 5-10 yards. He was so slow he got open because the CB would over run the play. I'm going to be watching your guy to see if he gets open quite easily.

I personlly wouldn't softcap catching. I'd get catching up to around 25 or so. But if I were in your shoes, I would softcap agility.

Then you could be like this turtle guy:

UPDATE:
For those who are following or for those who care.
Level 5.5, catching soft capped.
Next soft cap probably vision.

Since soft capping it, 4 balls thrown my way, 3 caught for 20 yards, YAC at 2.5.

Bort just hit these types of players with a nerf bat.

I've put a 20 speed 20 agility guy against a 70 speed 50 agility CB and the CB is all over him in general.

But there is SOME hope...

Risk calculations did not take the catching ability of the receiver into account as a very big part of the calculation. Being open is the major part. I'm tweaking that a little to be willing to pass to a guy if he's just way better than his defender, even if he's not wide open.

I'm not going against 70/50 talent though.
And it's not like I'm going to completely avoid speed/agility.
It will be assessed.
