Thats bad news for Alpha, as it brings it back to 3 Seasons before Alpha could be filled with competitive teams and 2 completely gutted teams.

It's really bugging me that little kids seem to be getting control of teams and then bailing when the going gets tough. I just don't think it's fair to the leagues who are trying to become more competitive. We get two good teams every season and it seems like just as many tuck their tails and run. Pisses me off!

You know what, we didn't win that championship last year. Screw this, I'm taking my ball and going home!

Not sure about the rest of the teams that are closing shop, but I have just lost intrest in owning a team after 3 seasons. Not so much tucking my tail and running .. more of tired of having to fight with teams with level caps for players.

When Bort and DD fix some of the issues, I'll buy another team. Until then, I will help my brother with his.

I can see this. There are days where I debate if I want to keep owning and operating a team, and I don't even have to worry about the FA aspect.

Yup this game is hard in the aspect that there really isnt a break for the well run teams anyway.....games every other day.....analyzing your game...scouting the next one.....rinse repeat.

Offseason is even busier for teams that are trying to sign FA's and get their shit together for the next season. Can burn out pretty quickly if you dont have enough help.

I think it is unfair to classify Khayos like that. He is a good owner who always tried to do the right thing. This is what he posted on our forum:

"Hi,

I wanted to let you know I just sent a note to Support about dropping ownership of the Koats. I have some RL friends on this team and we believe it's probably best to pool our resources on our other team, the Cape Cod Jagged Shoals.

I've asked Support about how I can recoup flex points. Depending on their response, I'll probably then release everyone so you don't get stuck. I just don't think I can make this team competitive in the near future and it is a little draining trying to oversee two teams.

If you're interested in buying the team, let me know and we can try to work something out. If that happens, you'd then need to coordinate with the other players here as I don't want to screw anyone over. I know I'm backing out of a commitment to you and I'm sorry."

Thanks nharsh for posting that.

To some of you others: real nice to be stereotyped. Having gone through a bunch of drama the first 3 seasons and a real busy work schedule, I couldn't keep up -- I didn't just lose and bail. I didn't "gut" the team. We were already negative with all stadium constructions purchased because I renegotiated contracts for level 24 bonuses (I guess they're outlawing that practice now). I took my 2 players plus my RL buddies over to my other team as it was more stable but losing the QB. I got some requests for releases and granted them.

It was a hard thing to do but I wish the guys the best in whatever future roles they have. Mike has taken over the team and I wish him the best.

If anyone wants to augment the Shoasl, we'll be moving up to AAA this year.
