Warrior General Games

Down to the final four. Winners get promoted, losers become just another team competing in BBB 14 next year. We are down to 1 vs 2 in both conferences. No ‘upsets’ so far in the playoffs. These four teams left have pretty much been set to face each other all season in the east, and since about week 10 in the west.

Western Conference

#1 San Diego vs #2 Albuquerque

San Diego likes to consider themselves underdogs in this game and maybe they are, considering this is the only team that beat them all season. San Diego has been #1 in the west since they beat Anchorage and many will say they’ve been number 1 all season long. The Mustangs have been playing better then any other team besides Akron in the last half of the season. Either team will compete very well in A7. I personally don’t know who I am rooting for. If I had to have a dream championship scenario it would be the gameplanning abilities of San Diego vs. the all around domination of Akron but I don’t think that is going to happen

Eastern Conference

#1 Akron vs #2 Alpine

After Alpine beat Chicago in Week 1, and Memphis in week 2, and Akron looked invincible all season long you pretty much knew they were destined to meet in the eastern conference finals. It’s amazing to think that combined these two teams have only lost once, and that was when Akron beat Alpine. That game was pretty much defensively dominated by the Assassins, and this game should really be a very low scoring affair. In my mind its going to be a game of who bends the least as you shouldn’t see very many touchdowns coming out of this game. Both of these teams really deserve to be promoted but one group is going to be left severely disappointed.

Prediction: Akron 13 Alpine 9

I have you as the favorites as well, but I would be surprised if you beat us with a score like 31-13. Remember that we had a turnover party in our last game and that might not happen again. I acknowledge that most of our turnovers were caused by your superior defense, but I hope that we will be able to hold on two the ball better this time around.

I think we will be able to keep it close against Alby.

As long as we have Tiger's recovery shots, who needs straight drives The only fore you are going to here are from your QB over-throwing your WRs!

actually the attacked occurred at "missed" at my fg attempt a few plays before that. had that one been hit we would have kicked off instead of punted making it less likely for you t go down the field for the game winner. that plus the big bomb we gave up made the difference. ARRGHHH!
