Along with ND I have to root for the alma mater Ball State University. They are going to be pretty good this year, they have a QB I've heard people say will be the next big MAC QB (hopefully more Ben Rothelisberger and less Charlie Frye
). If you've never heard of Ball State it's b/c the only other big name to come out of there besides me is David Lettermen, the Papa John's guy, and Jim Davis who created Garfield. It's reported that Superintendent Chalmers got his teaching license at Ball U to.

Well OU may have had a rough streak in BCS bowls, but I'll take losing a BCS bowl over winning a Holiday bowl (otherwise known as the Texas Invitational) any day of the week...
Just letting you know though, those guys in Norman who role their joints all wrong are looking forward to the second Saturday in October!
As for you Non OU/texas fans, if you have a chance to goto the red river shootout in dallas at the texas state fair you must go, most intense pure hatred (mostly in a fun way) rivalry I've seen (it beats the hell out of Florida/Georgia).

Haha, I'll take 2 holiday bowl wins and 2 BCS wins in the past 4 years any day over one of the top 25 upsets of all time and a horrible loss to a team without a coach. If you are a fan of the big 12 then you should seriously root for someone else to representing the big 12.
Also, he is 100% right about the red river shootout. Its the only reason to go to Dallas.....ever.

i grew up there.. hated the vibes.. parents made me apply to their college.. $45 application.. it was pretty much like saying.. i paid 45 bucks to be told im too stupid for their college..
plus their fans.. i swear they really think they're the best college team ever..
i despised them a great deal with the exception of the year vince young took 'em to the rose bowl.. and trust me i rooted hard for USC.. that was a great game.. that year has an exception because i met vince prior to that season.. he is a great guy to be around.. so humble about it all.. so im glad he got his recognition in that fashion.. as for the rest of 'em.. they can kiss my
