I'm not too sure about that since it would put a team in a cash crunch. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the game though. Hopefully the new tactics will keep it interesting.

There's no cash crunch if you have low level players.

Maybe cash crunch isn't a good way to put it. Sizable disadvantage?

If they are all sent to the same place, it won't matter really. To replace them at the higher levels, more teams would move up.

There's a cash crunch with REAL money if you have a lot of your own players. You have to boost them every year in order to compete with our high-caliber league. I pay $50 at least every season. I still need to add custom equipment to them.

That's true. I own quite a few players, and I spread it out with 25 bucks every three weeks, so I probably spend about $50 bucks a season when I think about it. Seems kind of silly, but I'm still having fun so I can't complain.

As for cash crunch, I think it's not really that bad. I'm paying out close to 100k a player for 40 guys and still have over 2 million after already purchasing two more ugrades. My Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns team that just went to the Pros in Eastern Europe has 25 million in the bank and is paying people 200k a season. They can't get rid of that cash.

Still, it's quite top heavy..and those added bells and whistles that players can purchase are going to really cause the higher level teams to go after free agents pretty hard, while lower tier teams are still going to have to manage themselves a bit more frugally.

The cash crunch team wise isn't too bad. I'm not upgrading my stadium as fast as I'd like, but I'm definitely still making a profit every season. Level 24 equipment's on the horizon so that will NOT be cheap.

The cash crunch I was talking about was only the teams that drop down from another league to here. Bort wants to reset their stadiums and cash to nothing. If the level of competition stays high like Tom thinks it will then that team that drops down is going to struggle to be able to afford lvl 20+ talent.

Secondeye your team doesn't have cash problems right now because they win. If you win less you sell less, and you make less.

Every team sold would drop to the bottom, so there would be more crappy teams down here. Although there are just as many BBB teams as non-BBB teams in the US (well even 1 more league of BBB). That's one of the disadvantages of the pyramid structure. Too many lower level leagues. If we could move all of the gutted teams to their own division, it would be a lot easier. I haven't figured out any good ways to do this.

How can you compete with low level players?

Let's say Bort drops some gutted team down to BBB16 and moves your team up...

That team still has to compete against teams with lvl 20+ players. How can they afford them if they have 500,000 in the bank and no stadium upgrades?

They would suck for a few seasons. But by that time, all the good teams would be promoted.

That's something I haven't even thought of. Great idea.

Haha...I'm not used to forums that don't jump to the last page when you click on them. That post I made 2 responses up was in response to your post at the bottom of page 1. I just started clicking too fast and not paying attention.
