Warrior General Games

Well, since I don't have any more playoff games to prepare for (thanks to the furry little bastages - term of endearment of course), I thought I'd look further into finding a way to make it easy on us to vote for the Pro Bowl Roster.

I don't want to spend a bunch of time on it if no one is going to use it and the whole concept just fizzles like last season, so i've put together a simple proof of concept poll for just the West QB.

Try it out and let me know what you think, or if you have suggestions, thoughts, concerns, etc... Pretty simple to follow.. just rank your top 3 and click "4" for the others (or leave blank, i just had to do a "4th" column to be able to change your selections if you make a mistake or something)

haven't decided on that site for sure yet.. it doesn't have as many features as others i've toyed with, but this one does allow to copy/paste stuff directly from our league leaders lists, which makes it a bit quicker to set up...

Seems kind of weird. The only way it let me submit was if I clicked every option, then reclicked the selection I wanted last. Why not just click your selection and not choose all the other guys in the process?

Am I supposed to get that when I hit submit?

since its required, yeah, its probably expecting an answer for each... i took the 'required' off of it... maybe that will allow you to vote only for the ones you want...

you'll get that at the end most likely as a reminder that's your only vote, or if you tried to go to the link again.. pretty sure your vote was logged..

where do u find the results?

i set up the survey so i believe only I can see them... 19 people so far... quick copy/paste shows "results" so far..

no idea "who" has posted votes.. i'm assuming those that have seen this thread, and probably some of my guys since i also posted it in my forums...

feel free to post in your own team forum if you want.. again this is just a test to see if its a likeable and acceptable and quick/simple solution to pro bowl balloting... (could end up using it the concept for other things as well... MVPs, ROYs, etc)

like i may have said before, a player on my team is also working on a nice custom version of our own.. drag/drop style... in a single nite he's got the interface looking pretty good...

we'll continue to work on it if the interest is there..

stupid forum/threads don't maintain formatting, so that cut/paste is a little difficult to parse! but i think you get the idea...

i really love this idea....it should be the way it is....then everyone can vote or not and shut the hell up about bias even if they vote for their own players.

I voted honestlly but obviously from looking at those results some didn't.

i love this idea as well, but believe it stills need some work before being used.
