Is confidence at all important for a CB? I'm slow building a CB and was curious about its value. I can yoke it up a bit now and then quit if it has value. I would imagine it does having played CB myself. If a WR beats your ass, your confidence does indeed take a hit. And yes, I did get beat. I'm 38 now and can just now admit it. lol

a player on my team said it will be alot more important with next years changes. And that this year it had an impact that when you let up a series of catches or a TD then your confidence would dive and you play would too. And my corner did experience this in one game early on this season where he let up like 5 catches for like 50 yards.

I lost a playoff game for my team, I think because of confidence. Gave up 2 TD's in the 4th quarter. One with 1:30 left in the game, a play that a level 26 CB should of made.
Confidence, I think is big.

My guy Zeke has low confidence and he always got better as the game went along which I find really odd when you add in that his stamina is 26.

If you are so good that you clearly handle any WR, you don't give up much and thus your confidence doesn't dip much. Maybe, but you better be much better than all the WRs. I guess I'll throw some training there for a couple days before I boost up.
