I just wanted to let the league now, that as the owner of the Nighthawks, I cant afford to renew the team, and the players, so as a result, ive given all players the option to "opt out". I know its not right to leave the new owner with little to nothing, but I have to do whats right by my players, and give them a chance to look for a new team, resign under the new owner, or stay with their current contract. This is not something I wanted as I believe my team was very good and better then they played in the playoffs, I believe this squad could have done better next season, and Im sorry it cant happne. I just wanted to let the league know, so it doesnt come as a surprise next season. Thanks for everything and Good luck with the rest of this season and next!

You have any of your GMs interested in buying the team? It might be possible to do that.

only one of my GMs can afford to, but thats coming to late as more then half the team is going to be testing the waters, before he even said he could take over.

getta good offers to play in leagues like south america and european, but i love the USa league where its true football, not this soccer stuff

Sorry to hear this Eko...the Golden Hawks respected the talent on your team and you are a great competitor...I hope all your players find good home and I wish you all the success in the future...it's always sad to see teams have to get gutted

I always hate seeing teams get gutted too. That sucks! The only way I'm ever getting rid of my team is if I die, or if all of my players quit. I don't know if I could have the energy to restart a whole new team.
