let me guess, u downloaded the rosters lol, they are working on a fix for that, but the game itself is awesome. if u download rosters from the ea locker u are guaranteed to crash, there will be a patch released for that soon tho, so no worries. as long as u wait on downloading them ur golden

now to brag, Alabama 6-1(heisman difficulty), only loss to clemson 38-34, clemson scored on a KR with 4 seconds left . Ali sherif had 6 picks in 2 games for 345 yds and 5 TDs. Recruits signed: #1 ranked WR #2 ranked QB(scrambler) #1 Ranked DE. gotta love it

how are u guys doing so fari got the real rosters and i havnt had a thing happen yet.

It helps if you don't suck at playing the game... Try it on High School difficulty (I'm sure you can find it) then maybe you can average 2.7 YPC against weak defenses like your GLB player lol.

On a lighter note, I usually don't like the NCAA games much so I rent em and play em for a week and until this year I never went out and bought one, this is one that I will definitely buy when I have to return it to Blockbuster.

havent played ohio state, but i have had no trouble against georgia. if your throwing picks quit throwing into coverage. and as for penalties thats mainly just luck of the draw, unless ur jumping offsides and drilling wrs b4 they touch the ball

I love using LSU and their HB Holiday who has 98 speed he's awesome great at making people miss catching and returns

god i hate him, my bro uses LSU and i cant stop holiday

and irule, watch out because if the lower florida teams start dissappearing then u will have a system crash

here is the official writeup on the roster problem. and u may not have downloaded from fk or the 2 that they name here, but they all came from the same files. if u downloaded rosters u got a version of 1 of these 3 rosters, all of whcih have this problem


UPDATE: FAIRDALE KINGS™ Rosters

As many of you are already aware there is some problems this year associated with editing rosters. I can NOT go into details about the specifics of the problems but they will be fixed by EA Sports. I have been encouraged to be patient and wait until the patch is actually released for NCAA '09.

When will your rosters be finished?

EA Sports announced on July 16th that the patch will be released within 5-10 days. Once the patch is released it will take me 4-5 days to actually input the names for over 8,100 players. If you have access to Xbox Live you will download the patch. Expect my rosters 4-5 days later. Until then I strongly suggest that you do NOT download rosters from the EA Locker because there are some issues there, too.

Well DT Linder at EArosters.com has rosters available. Why does his roster file work?

DT Linder did not create his roster file from scratch. He downloaded Pasta Padre's roster file which has problems and will cause the game to crash. DT was able to correct the FIU depth chart bug and make the rosters playable if you do NOT edit the file. Once you edit a few teams on DT's roster file it will also cause your game to crash and the teams will begin to disappear. Florida International has been documented as the first team to vanish.

What risks are associated with using DT Linder's or Pasta Padre's rosters?

If you reach the maximum amount of edits eventually your game will crash. Another serious problem is that some teams will totally disappear from the game. If you enter dynasty mode with missing teams this has the potential for more problems. Finally, there is a great risk that EA Sports will eventually make any roster file released pre-patch invalid. This means that there is potenial that your dynasty could become corrupt, too. I would also hate to see someone spend their money on a roster file that will be corrupt when the patch is released.

There is also problems with pass rushing, there is none.
The wideopen play thing they went with this year made it so basically all the teams are the same.
