CB Corey Gaudreau set to join the Hope after 2 seasons in Dallas.

NEW YORK - Just hours after the New York Hope defeated the Boston Massacre, 19-12, the New York front office announced that they have agreed in principle with Dallas Rampage Corner Back, Corey Gaudreau.

The details of the deal are still not available, as Gaudreau's contract with the Rampage doesn't expire until the end of the season.

"New York has always been a great team in my mind, they have a tremendous offense and a hard-nosed defense. I really hope to contribute as much as possible next season," said Gaudreau when asked by reporters.

There was also speculation of team mate, Running Back Jonathan Eivins moving on to another BBB #1 team in the Western Conference, after the announcement of former Dallas Rampage owner Jason Elliot retiring from his position.

Gaudreau had to say about his former owner and team, "Jason was a great owner and was a great inspiration for the team. We had a few ups and downs during the season, and I'm going to miss playing with a lot of those guys. Hopefully they can turn it around next season."

"Even with our recent victory over a talented Boston team, the New York Hope like to constantly improve, Corey Gaudreau adds depth to an already great Secondary, as well as a new return option who we believe can have success in this league. He's got a winning attitude and I don't care if your a level 1 with 1 eye and 1 leg, if you want to win and you give it your all, you have a spot on this team." Team Owner DCTitan49 had to say after today's game when asked about the signing of Gaudreau to their roster for next season.

Gaudreau had 68 tackles, 25 PDs, and 2 Fumble Recoveries in 13 games with the Rampage this season.
