My tackles have been down this year, so I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the build or if its just that the players around me have all gotten better.

I would up your agility and put one point in tackling, after which I would set my tackling to balanced. But it's more likely that everyone around you is getting better, as well as your competition.

In general, the more you win, the worse the LOLB stats.

The LOLB is spot that sees the least playing time since they aren't even on the field in a nickle or dime package. Your defense will play nickle or dime when the other team is passing a lot and even more so when they have fallen behind.

It can also have a lot to do with how your DE's and CB's do on running plays as one is closer to the play (the DE) and the other likely fast (the CB) and can hog all the tackles.

As a level 24 lolb, I found my productivity was much higher the harder the competition. As long as the game was close, I was in there and making plays. When we were winning, I would play half the plays as the teams other lb's. Plus as the players around me got better, more plays were made before they ball carrier got to me.

I would look at tackling. At the end of this season, missed tackles everywhere went way up. My focus is going to be to get my tackling up, so I don't have to play on wrap-up, and am able to force some fumbles.
